Parenthood changes everything

Oh the things a Daddy will do for his little girl!

On our way out to the car to go to church last Sunday morning, Katie was begging to go slide and swing on her new swingset. (I think Kevin was tempted to let her go down one time, but all I could think about was ruining her dress and tearing her pretty little pink tights). We promised her we would go once we got home and she had a nap. The first thing she said after her nap was "slide", so she had not forgotten. We walked outside and it was raining so we had to stay on the porch instead. Thank goodness for our covered porch!! After several rounds of bowling, basketball and drawing with the sidewalk chalk, we had to take a break. Apparently Katie thought feeding the baby doll was a dangerous job and that Kevin might need to wear a helmet.

And yes, she is at the age where she wants to pick her own shoes. However, the only shoes she ever picks are her UGA crocs.
