Papa

Today is the anniversary of our Papa leaving this world way too early. I think about him often and miss him dearly. He was a very special man and loved so much.

This picture is the last one I have of him. It was Katie's first Christmas and the first and only time he got to see her. He died the following March, the same week that we moved to Vermont. He would have absolutely loved the girls and it makes me sad to know that they will not know him. I know that he is watching over them though.
