Cassie is halfway to 1! Time continues to fly by as she grows so quickly. She now weighs 16 lbs and is 27 inches long. The pediatrician said she is perfectly healthy. Her weight had dropped to the 50th percentile, but the pediatrician said that was perfectly normal at this age as they start to get more active. Cassie rolls over and over like crazy and acts like she wants to crawl. She is close to sitting up on her own, but not quite there.
The doctor said we could go ahead and start introducing a sippy cup. I put some Gerber juice (watered down a bit) in a cup to see how she would react. She wasn't too sure about the taste and ended up just playing with the cup.
